GAL ANS Celebrates International Day of the Air Traffic Controller 20th October 2020

Today at GAL ANS we celebrate International Day of the Air Traffic Controller. The day celebrates everyone around the world who work to make air travel the safest possible mode of transport by keeping an eye on each and every aircraft movement.

We have chosen this time when the world is showing its resilience to the Covid-19 pandemic which has significantly impacted the aviation industry, to celebrate the unique profession of Air Traffic Controllers who exhibit excellent team working skills, agility and an ability to remain calm during busy periods and disruption.

The celebration of International Day of the Air Traffic Controller reminds people about the hard work that men and women do on the ground to make air traffic safe. Although at GAL ANS we celebrate ATC every day with the services that we provide to our customers, today we want to thank each and every controller for the contribution that you make in delivering a safe, expeditious and environmentally responsible service to our customers and the travelling public.
