Communications and Co-ordination Workshop

GAL Air Navigation Services LLC hosted a successful cross-industry workshop at the Westin Hotel, Abu Dhabi, on 24th April with senior experts from around the UAE to seek improvements in the efficiency of communications and co-ordination between the various stakeholders involved in helicopter movements around the country, particularly VIP and VVIP.

Senior delegates attended from the General Civil Aviation Authority, the major UAE international airports, executive airports and military airports, as well as pilots for VVIP flights. The collaborative spirit was really high throughout the workshop and at the conclusion, two solutions were proposed and agreed by all parties.
